• Surgical Grade 316 Steel: Reinforced with molybdenum, this sink is virtually impervious to rust and corrosion, even against acidic foods (tomato sauce, citrus) or in high-humidity coastal environments.

• Scratch-Resistant Honeycomb Texture: The laser-embossed structure reduces contact surface area, while the anti-bacterial Nano-PVD coating repels oil and water. This "living finish" hides daily wear and keeps your sink hygienic.

• Smart "Stack & Store" System: Maximize your counter space. The included accessories are designed to nest perfectly into a single compact stack (Colander on the bottom, Defrosting Tray in the middle, Cutting Board on top). Store the entire set inside the sink or in a drawer.

• Whisper-Quiet Insulation: Rated the quietest sink globally. Our industry-leading sound and thermal insulation (2.5x standard) prevents condensation damage to your cabinets and eliminates the hollow noise of washing heavy pots.

• Garbage Disposal Ready: Features a standard 3.5-inch drain opening compatible with all standard garbage disposal units (InSinkErator, Waste King, etc.).

INSTALLATION GUIDE (Important for IDs & Contractors)

The Neste V5 is versatile, but precise installation is key for a premium finish.

1. Undermount (Zero Reveal)

• Look: Seamless transition from countertop to sink wall.

• Cutout Size: Matches the "Inner Bowl Dimensions" listed in the table above.

2. Undermount (Negative Reveal)

• Look: Countertop overhangs the sink slightly, hiding the silicone joint.

• Limit: Supports a negative reveal of up to 6mm.

• Benefit: Allows you to wipe crumbs directly into the bowl with no rim obstruction.

3. Flush Mount (Inset)

• Look: Sink rim sits perfectly level with the countertop surface.

• Requirement: The sink rim is 1.5mm thick. Your installer must create a recessed groove on the countertop that is 1.5mm deep and 20mm wide to accommodate the rim.

• Note: Please confirm with your contractor that your countertop material (Quartz/Sintered Stone) can be routed this precisely.

4. Topmount/Overmount

• Look: Sink rim sits on top of the countertop surface.

• Benefit: Useful when replacing an existing sink without changing countertop or cabinetry.

• Note: Please confirm with a contractor if replacement is viable - Zuhne does not provide replacement services.

FAQs

Q: What is the difference between 304 and 316 Stainless Steel?

A: The main difference is corrosion resistance. 316 Surgical Grade contains Molybdenum, making it significantly more resistant to rust, chlorides, and acids compared to standard 304 steel. It is the superior choice for hygiene and longevity in humid kitchens.

Q: Will the honeycomb texture trap dirt or food residue?

A: No. The honeycomb pattern is laser-embossed to be shallow and smooth, specifically designed to allow water and debris to glide over it rather than getting stuck. Combined with our hydrophobic Nano-PVD coating (which repels oil and sauce) and gently curved R10 corners, a simple rinse or wipe is all it takes to keep the sink spotless.

Q: Are the honeycomb texture and Nano coating permanent?

A: The honeycomb texture is permanent because it is laser-embossed directly into the solid stainless steel—it is part of the sink's structure and not a coating.

The Nano-PVD coating is molecularly bonded to the steel and will never peel or flake like paint. However, it is a protective "living finish" that may gradually thin over years of heavy friction. Important: Since the coating is transparent, natural wear will not cause discoloration or dark patches. The sink may simply lose some of its initial sheen over time, transitioning gracefully to the natural soft glow of 316 surgical steel.

Q: Is the sink scratch-proof?

A: While the Neste V5 is engineered to be highly scratch-resistant (significantly more so than standard flat stainless steel), no metal sink is 100% scratch-proof against heavy sharp objects.

The Advantage: The laser-embossed honeycomb texture is specifically designed to camouflage minor micro-scratches that occur with daily use, making them virtually invisible.

Peace of Mind: Please note that any potential scratches are purely cosmetic. They are surface-level only and do not compromise the sink's integrity, hygiene, or superior rust resistance.

Q: Can I pour boiling water or place hot pans in the sink?

A: Boiling Water: While 316 stainless steel handles boiling temperatures easily, we recommend letting the water cool for 3-4 minutes or running the cold tap while draining. This best practice protects your home's PVC plumbing pipes, which can warp under sudden exposure to scalding heat.

Hot Pans: We advise against placing hot pans directly from the oven onto the sink surface, as extreme localized heat may affect the Nano coating's protective sheen. Instead, please use the included Wire Basket or Defrosting Tray as a trivet to protect the sink bottom.

Q: Will the silicone joint around the sink get moldy?

A: Mold on silicone is a common issue in humid climates, but the Neste V5 helps minimize this in two ways:

1. Negative Reveal Installation: We recommend installing this sink with a slight countertop overhang (negative reveal). This tucks the silicone seal under the countertop edge, shielding it from direct water splashes and keeping it hidden from view.

2. Pro Tip: Always insist that your contractor uses high-quality Neutral Cure Anti-Fungal Silicone during installation.

Q: Are replacement accessories available?

A: Yes, all accessories can be purchased separately.

• Stainless Steel Accessories (Colander, Tray, Basket): These are dishwasher safe and made from durable steel like the sink, so they rarely need replacement.

• Hardwood Cutting Board: Being a natural wood product, this is the only item that may require replacement after years of use. It should be hand-washed only to maintain its lifespan.
